Jumbo’s Commercial Offshore Department deals with transport and installation solutions for our Clients in the Offshore Energy market. For these transport and installation solutions we utilize 2 DP vessels with lifting capacities up to 900 mt and a water depth reach of 3000 m operating worldwide. Beside the Offshore team we have a shipping department, together we operate with 8 vessels and have access to a significantly larger fleet of vessels together with the alliance partner SAL and Intermarine.
To strengthen the Commercial Offshore team Jumbo is looking for a (Senior) Tender Manager Offshore. The (Senior) Tender Manager Offshore is responsible for managing, coordination and supervision of assigned tenders within the Commercial Offshore Department in close cooperation with the Business Acquisition Manager and reporting to the Manager Commerce Offshore. As a person you are a communicative and a creative, goal-oriented problem solver who takes pride in facilitating tenders at the highest level, by working accurately with an eye for detail. And always focused on winning tenders with the best possible result for Jumbo.
MAIN
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of the Offshore Tendering process including supporting disciplines;
- Prepare tenders in compliance with Jumbo policies and guidelines and client requirements;
- Contribute to the bidding strategy;
- Make recommendations for price levels of offshore tenders;
- Oversee correct qualification of tenders for consistency with Jumbo policies;
- Preparation of assigned tenders;
- Co-ordinate clarification process;
- Reports and highlights critical activities to the Manager Commerce Offshore. Liaison and coordination with Operations Department, Legal Department, Engineering Department, Financial Department, Procurement Department, HRM Department, Technical Department and QHSE Department for tendering purposes;
- Lead contract negotiations in close cooperation with the responsible Business Acquisition Manager.
WE
REQUIRE
- Relevant technical bachelor’s or master’s degree;
- Experience and understanding of Offshore transport and installation projects for the subsea market and/or offshore wind market;
- Appreciation of the risks and opportunities of Offshore Construction projects;
- Knowledge of the offshore construction market;
- Fully conversant in English (verbally and in writing);
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook).
