Jumbo’s Operations department deals with a wide range of activities from strategic level to the dayto-day operations, including vessel management for shipping and offshore operations. Operations as a department is responsible for the optimal and efficient operation of our fleet in both shipping and offshore projects. For the timely and correct issuing of international transport documentation and the preparation of invoices according to contract we are looking for a Documentation Operator.
WHAT WILL
YOU BE DOING?
- Preparation, checking and handling of cargo documentation worldwide;
- Preparation of cargo documentation at the port of Rotterdam such as Bills of Lading, Cargo Manifests, Mate’s Receipts, Loading Lists;
- Checking quantities loaded or to be loaded on board and liaising with Vessel Masters, Port Captains, engineering department and commercial department on Loading Lists;
- Coordinating documentation of cargo delivered at the port of Rotterdam;
- Preparation of cargo related invoices;
- Checking NOR/SOF;
- Preparation of timesheets (laytime);
- Coordinating chasing of payment of outstanding and/or overdue invoices and reporting results to principals;
- Arranging application and/or renewal of federal certificates of financial responsibility (water pollution certificates);
- Arranging application and/or renewal of contracts with guarantors relating to the federal certificates of financial responsibility.
WHO ARE
YOU?
- Extensive knowledge and experience in international cargo documentation;
- Knowledge of international rules and regulations for the carriage of goods by sea (f.i. Hague Visby Rules etc.);
- Good command of English and Dutch language (verbal and written);
- Computer skills – ability to work with Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Communicative abilities.
