Free standing Hybrid Riser Buoyancy Can installation
Scope of work
| Project | Transport and installation of five (5) Buoyancy Cans. At the field Technip connected together the individual components of the riser. The Fairplayer moved in for a wet handshake and at a depth of 160 m the 2,300 m long riser was taken over by the Fairplayer’s fore crane and placed in a hang-off frame for connection to the Buoyancy Can. The whole assembly was then over boarded, upended and lowered safely through the splash zone to a depth of 200m where it was de-ballasted by Technip. |

Load-out, transport and installation
The scope of work comprises the receipt, marshalling and preparation for installation of mooring components. Load-out, transport and installation of 24-off T-120 torpedo mooring pile and bottom chains. Components for Riser and Umbilical mooring system consisting of 11-off T- 35 torpedo mooring pile and bottom chains.
