Jumbo Offshore’s Commercial Department is focused on winning contracts providing transport and installation solutions based on our 2 DP vessels with lifting capacities up to 900 mt and a water depth reach of 3000 m operating worldwide. Beside the Offshore department we have a Shipping department that operates 8 vessels. Together with Jumbo Shipping’s alliance partners SAL and Intermarine a fleet of approximately 65 vessels is operated.
To strengthen Jumbo Offshore’s Commercial team Jumbo is looking for a Tender Manager (Offshore). The Tender Manager (Offshore) is responsible for managing, coordination and supervision of assigned tenders within the Commercial Department in close cooperation with the Business Acquisition Manager and reporting to the Director Commerce Offshore. As a person you are a communicative and a creative, goal-oriented problem solver who takes pride in facilitating tenders at the highest level, by working accurately with an eye for detail
YOUR MAIN
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of the Offshore Tendering process including supporting disciplines;
- Prepare tenders in compliance with Jumbo policies and guidelines and client requirements;
- Contribute to the bidding strategy;
- Make recommendations for price levels of offshore tenders;
- Oversee correct qualification of tenders for consistency with Jumbo policies;
- Preparation of assigned tenders;
- Co-ordinate clarification process;
- Reports and highlights critical activities to the Manager Commerce Offshore. Liaison and coordination with Operations Department, Legal Department, Engineering Department, Financial Department, Procurement Department, HRM Department, Technical Department and QHSE Department for tendering purposes;
- Lead contract negotiations in close cooperation with the responsible Business Acquisition Manager.
WE
REQUIRE
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree. Engineering degree is a pre;
- Experience and understanding of Offshore transport and installation operations for the subsea market and/or offshore wind market;
- Appreciation of the risks of Offshore Construction operations;
- Knowledge of the offshore construction market;
- Fully conversant in English (verbally and in writing);
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
