Jumbo’s HR department deals with a wide range of activities from strategic level to the day-to-day operations, including recruiting and staffing, compensation and benefits, payroll, learning & development. The department, also responsible for manning the vessels and projects, is an enthusiastic and professional team. To strengthen the HR team, we are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Administrator who is passionate about maintaining an excellent HR administration, driving efficiency and optimizing processes. In this role, you will not only manage core HR administrative tasks but also take ownership of identifying and implementing improvements to streamline operations and enhance the employee experience.

WHAT WILL
YOU BE DOING?

  • You are the first point of contact for all HR related questions;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases;
  • Create and manage employment documentation, such as contracts, generates reports and keeps procedures up to date;
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for employees;
  • Identify and take the initiative to optimize HR processes, suggesting and implementing improvements to increase efficiency;
  • Coordinate and execute payroll-related activities with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality;
  • Organize and manage employee events, including training sessions and company events.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.

WHO ARE
YOU?

  • Proven experience in HR administration or a similar role;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a mindset for taking ownership;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR systems;
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English language both written and spoken;
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, employment law, and best practices;
  • Able to work as a team player yet also managing your own area of expertise;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
